House Sold For £9000
A two-unit brick house at Tuirau place, Fendalton, was sold for £9OOO at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan. The initial bid was £BOOO. There were four bids of £250. The main unit has a lounge, three bedrooms, kitchenette, and bathroom.
The other unit has an entrance foyer and lounge, bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom.
There is also a garage on the section of 27.1 perches. Offered on account of the estate of Alfred George Woodhouse, a bxick bungalow at 50 Liggins Street, Burwood, was passed at £2450. The auctioneer was Mr A. E. Barrell, who was acting in conjunction with Harris, Lawlor and Company.
The house has two bedrooms, lounge, kitchendinette, bathroom, and laundry. Outbuildings on the section of 32 perches include a garden shed. The rates are £26 8s 7d.
