ACTIVITIES OF I.S.C.
Adoption Of Report
After a day of slow progress, the International Student Conference finally approved a 19-page report on proposed activities for 1964-68 shortly after 4 p.m. yesterday. Delegates had spent a total of 11 hours discussing the report, including an extended session which ended at 2.30 aan. yesterday. At the beginning of yesterday morning’s session, the chairman (Mr W. Savage) appealed to delegates to confine discussion to matters directly relevant as interpreters and technicians had to leave this afternoon.
A proposal by Nigeria that debates be limited was then carried unanimously.
