Lanes Industries Profit Down
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 29. Lanes Industries, Ltd., Levin, has announced a group and subsidiaries net profit of £38,000, subject to audit, in the year to March 31. This is £6352 less than in the previous year. The profit was after allowing £32,000 for depreciation (up £10,000) and £36,000 (down £7000) for taxation. Directors will recommend a final dividend of 6 per cent, which will take £lO,BOO, making a total of 11 per cent for the year. It is expected the annual accounts will be available in time for the annual meeting to be called early in July.
