SLOW SKID RISK ACCIDENT FOG

THIS NEW TYPE of illuminated warning sign has been developed for use on British motorways. Police headquarters control the signs, which are at two-mile intervals, and can switch on any warning or combination of warnings as necessary. The sign is lift wide with the top 12ft above the road. The warnings are illegible until switched on.
