Hand Caught In Fan

A trotting trainer, Donald Gilmore Donaldson, of 229 A Carmen road, suffered injuries to his hand, including the loss of the top joint of one of his fingers, when his hand was caught in the fan of a car on Wednesday.

He was taken to the Christchurch Hospital and transferred to Burwood Hospital. His condition was later reported to be satisfactory.
