CRUISE IN ROYALIST
Governor To Visit Islands (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 1. The cruiser H.M.N.Z.S. Royalist will leave Auckland on April 13 for a four-week, 7500-mile cruise with the Governor-General (Sir Bernard Fergusson) on board. This will be followed by a seven-week stay on the Far East station and a return to New Zealand early in August. Sir Bernard Fergusson and Lady Fergusson will visit dozens of islands and settlements in the Pacific, ranging in size from the principal island of the Cook group, Rarotonga, to its tiny satellite Manuae, with a population of 18.
State Gives Toys.—All babies born in Israeli hospitals today are getting a teddy bear at State expense, to mark the tenth anniversary of the National Insurance Institute.—Jerusalem, March 31.
