SHAKES (No. 12) AND CHAMP, whose close tussles in the Great Easter and Templeton Handicaps at Riccarton earlier this week have been features of the C.J.C. autumn meeting. Shakes beat Champ in both races by narrow margins. They will meet again in the Waltham Handicap tomorrow.
