STOLE ARMY VEHICLE
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 2. A man stole an Army vehicle, changed its colour and number plates and travelled 1000 miles before being arrested, Detective-Sergeant B. T. N. Hutton told Mr H. Jenner Wily, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court today. The man, Taita Rapana, aged 23, a workman, pleaded guilty to six charges—four of burglary and two of theft—and was remanded until next Thursday for sentence.
