Otago Set For Record Kill

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 2. Otago looks as if it will have another record sheep and lamb kill this season. All three Otago freezing works have increased their tallies and at the end of March the combined total was about 7 J per cent or 171,843 ahead on the same period last year. The total kill to the end of last month was 2,395,071 compared with 2,223,228 to the end of March, 1963. For the 1962-63 season which ended in mid-June the total kill was 3,024,490. This was more than 50,000 or 1.8 per cent up on 1961-62.
