Among company news was the announcement that directors of Transport Development Group, Ltd., had sent their formal takeover offer to shareholders of Cargo Distributors, Ltd. The board of Cargo Distributors has strongly recommended acceptance of the offer. Industrials were steadier on the Melbourne Stock Exchange today, with moves narrow and about in balance.
