TOP COLTS.—Two of the top colts sold at the yearling sales at the Addington Show Grounds yesterday. TOP: The Thurber Frost—Spangled Scott colt, which was bought for 1100 gns by the Sydney trainer, P. J. Hall. He was offered on behalf of Roydon Lodge Stud, Ltd., Yaldhurst. BOTTOM: Mr J. S. Shaw, of Riccarton, as agent, paid 1000 gns for this colt by Hal Tryax from Bright Dene. He was offered on behalf of Mr A. R. Aitchison, of Palmerston.
