3390 “Dominion” Shares Sold In Two Days

WELLINGTON, Feb. 28. Heavy turnover in Wellington Publishing Company shares and rights has been the outstanding feature of business on the Wellington Stock Exchange in the last two days. Sellers came forward fairly freely when trading opened today. But buyers took all offerings at steady prices and the market closed firm. Including late business on Wednesday,’ 3390 shares at £22 and 955
rights at £l4 10s have changed hands in the last two days. When business ended today quotations were buyers £22 and sellers £22 5s for the ordinary, the B and the C shares of £5 each, and £l4 10s buy, £l4 12s 6d sell, for the rights to the new issue of £5 shares at a £2 10s premium. The offer recently made by News, Ltd„ of Adelaide, was £22 for the shares and £l4 10s for the rights.
