Work Of A.A. Patrol Officers
During October patrol officers of the Automobile Association (Canterbury) travelled 16,701 miles and assisted 142 cars, a report from the roads, patrols and service committee of the association said. The report was presented to a meeting of the association's council and was adopted. It also said that during the month the association’s officers erected 214 signs, shipped 33 cars and enrolled 49 new members- Cars inspected for members totalled 258.
