2nd Test In Christchurch (N.Z. Press Association) 1 WELLINGTON, Nov. 29. . The eight-match tour of New Zeeland next winter by | Australia will include three tests, the second one in Christchurch, and a game against Mid-Canterbury at Ashbur- L ton Earlier, a New Zealand colts team (under 23 on June 1) will make an eight-match tour of Australia, and its first game will be in Tasmania, where no New Zealand team has previously appeared. A New Zealand Maori team will tour Fiji between July 15 and August 5. These tours and other major matches were approved today by a meeting of the council of the New Zealand union in Wellington. Dates approved were:— Colts’ Tour.—May 13: Trial, at Palmerston North. May 30: v. Combined Southern States. Hobart. June 3: v. South Australia. Adelaide. June 6: v. Victoria. Melbourne. June 10: v. Australian Universities. Sydney. June 13 or 15: v. Sydney. June 17: v. Combined Country. Sydney. June 20: v. Queensland, Brisbane. Inter-island Games.—June 25: Northern v. Southern Maoris, Te Awamutu. June 27: N.Z. Maoris v. Waikato. Hamilton. July 4: North v. South. Auckland. Australian Tour —Aug. 5: Wanganui. Aug. 8: Auckland. Aug. 11: East Coast. Ruatoria. Aug 15: First test. Dunedin. Aug. 18: Mid - Canterbury. Ashburton. Aug. 22: Second test. Christchurch. Aug. 25: Bush. Pahiatua. Aug. 29: Third test, Wellington.
