Clear Water For Trials

Representatives of yacht clubs and boat owners’ associations met last evening to arrange clear water for each of four classes holding championship races on the Estuary at the same time during the week-end.

Olympic Finns and OK dinghies will be confined to an area west of Morten’s Jetty on the south side of the Estuary. Skippers seeking Canterbury representation in P class trials will race further out in the Estuary on a course between Morten’s Jetty and the end of Canal Reserve.

Crews competing in the Canterbury Junior Cherub championship and representative trials will sail to the east of Morten’s Jetty opposite the Causeway.
