ARREST WARRANT

A warrant was issued today for the arrest of 23-year-old Terence Norman Chandler field secretary of the direct-action nuclear armament group, the Committee of 100, after he failed to appear to stand trial. Peter John Moule, 27, secretary of the national committee of the Committee of 100. who faces similar charges arising out of demonstrations during the British State visit of King Paul and Queen Frederika of Greece in July, was granted a separate trial. Both men were to have faced trial at the Old Bailey yesterday on six charges, including conspiracy to cause a public nuisance by unlawfully obstructing the highway. Chandler had applied for the indictment against him to be quashed. He claimed earlier proceedings at the Magistrate's Court, where he was committed for trial, were irregular.
Gold Bullion Missing

Nov 29 Fifty gold bars worth £21.000 are missing on a flight between London and Buenos Aires The aircraft carrying the gold touched down during the flight at five airfields. The gold, consigned by a firm of London bullion dealers, was in one of six boxes worth £106.000 That five other boxes of gold arr ved safely “It seems that the box of gold was missed between Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires,” an airline official aaid.
