AUSTRALIAN TITLE WON.—The New Zealand golfers, R. C. Murray (left) and S. G. Jones, winners of the Australian amateur foursomes championship at Kingston Heath, Melbourne. They had rounds of 76 and 69 (145), and won by three strokes from their fellow-New Zealanders, R. R. Newdick and P. K. Creighton. Murray and Jones are the first overseas players to win the championship, which was first contested in 1928. This photograph was taken during their final round.
