COMMERCIAL Milburn Shares Rise 5s 3d On ’Change
Milbum Lime and Cement shares, in first business since the announcement of the details of the merger with New Zealand Gement, rose 5s 3d (allowing for the Is 9d dividend), in Dunedin business yesterday. British Office Supplies, Reid Rubber, Rex Consolidated and ormald Bros, also made good rises. Wisemans fell Is 9d to 18s 9d. New Zealand shares made twice as many gains as losses. Overseas share were weak. Trading volume was slightly down.
