KAIMAI AIR CRASH
Three Bodies Unidentified (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 29. Evidence that three missing persons were passengers in the N.A.C. Skyliiner which crashed in the Kaimad ranges, near Te Arolia on July 3 was heard by the Coroner (Mr K A. Snedden) today. The evidence was heard on behalf of the Hamilton Coroner. who will conduct the inquest into the deaths of the 23 persons killed in the crash The passengers about whom evidence was heard today were among those whose bodies were not able to be identified. They were Mrs Eleanor Eileen Boddington, married, of Gisborne, Frederick Charles Pullum, am engineer, of Birkenhead, and Miss Sarah Seymour, a nurse, of Gisborne.
Wyndham Leonard Dixon, an officer of the Automobile Association (Auckland), said he drove Mr and Mrs Boddington to Wheniuapai on July 3 and saw them board the aircraft for Gisborne. He left the airport before the plane took off. Mrs Alice Pullum said her husband left home by car for Whenuapai to fly to Gisborne on business on the morning of the crash. That was the last time she saw him.
Andrew Michael Butler, uncle of Miss Seymour, sacd he drove her to the N.A.C office and saw her on to the bus which was to take her to Whenuapai to board the aircraft for Gisborne.
