Woman's Cricket LOW SCORES IN TRIAL

Probables 63, Possibles 47 Bowler* were on top throughout in the women's representative trial match played at St James Park yesterday. In a total of 47, only G. Low* and J. Dickinson managed to reach double figures for Possibles against accurate bowling and good fielding. Lowe was unlucky to be run out Dickinson defended soundly, but lofted many ot her attacking Site. Probable* were also in early trouble and runs came slowly until P. Blackler came in. Her 18 was the top score and the best inning* of the match, and without Blackler Probables would have been hard pressed to secure their win on the first innings.
