Baby’s Body Found

(NX. Press Association) ROTORUA, October 27. The dead body of a newlyborn boy was found concealed in a cubicle of the women’s lavatory at the Rotorua soundshell at 6.30 pjn. yesterday. Detective-Sergeant J. F. Collins, of the Rotorua C. 1.8., who is in charge of the investigation, said tonight it was thought the body was placed there sometime between 10 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Saturday when it was found by the sound Shell caretaker.

Rotorua and Hamilton detectives worked on the matter throughout last night and today.
