ICELAND FISHING
Fine For ‘Poacher'’ (N.Z .PA.-Reuter—Copyright) REYKJAVIK, Oct 28. Dennis Pougher, skipper of the Hull trawler Peter Cheyney was yesterday fined £2500 for fishing inside Icelandic waters Pougher. who admitted the charge, told the court his radar broke down and he was unable to measure the dis•ance to the coast. The Peter Cheyney, of 538 tons, was arrested on Saturday by the Icelandic gunboat Odinn after she had sailed from Isafjordur, where she had put ashore 20 shipwrecked seamen from the 620ton Grimsby trawler Northern Spray.
