A 22-year-oki farm worker. Mr R McAlpine, who was working on his mother’s pro. perty nearby, found Mr Brady lying on the floor at the foot of his bed

"I dragged him out along the floor ” said Mr McAlpine “The mattress was red hot and there was a hole burnt in the floor ”

Mr McAlpine and a bour extinguished the fire with buckets at water.
