Business Personal Mr R. Urlwin has been appointed managing director of Urlwin Industries, Ltd. Mr Urlwin was previously' technical director when the company was operating as H. C. Urlwin, Ltd. Mr H. C. Urlwin is now chairman of the board. Mr P. R. H. Gerhard has been appointed manager, chemicals department. of Shell Oil New Zealand, Ltd He will take up his appointment on September 16. He succeeds Mr A. C. Pullen, who has been transferred to a senior appointment in Australia.

Victoria Insur. Div.—Victoria Insurance Co., Ltd., is maintaining ordinary dividend at last year’s increased 12.5 per cent rate, although profit eased about 13 per cent from the 1961-62 record level.
