PRICE CHANGES LAST WEEK

Business Personal Mr R. Urlwin has been appointed managing director of Urlwin Industries, Ltd. Mr Urlwin was previously' technical director when the company was operating as H. C. Urlwin, Ltd. Mr H. C. Urlwin is now chairman of the board. Mr P. R. H. Gerhard has been appointed manager, chemicals department. of Shell Oil New Zealand, Ltd He will take up his appointment on September 16. He succeeds Mr A. C. Pullen, who has been transferred to a senior appointment in Australia.

Victoria Insur. Div.—Victoria Insurance Co., Ltd., is maintaining ordinary dividend at last year’s increased 12.5 per cent rate, although profit eased about 13 per cent from the 1961-62 record level. Profit for the year to June 30 was £161,105, after a big cut in tax provision. Tt compares with £185.200 in 196162. £160.071 in 1960-61, and £157.315 in 1959-60. Final ordinary dividend is 7.5 per cent to make 12.5 per cent for the year. York Motors Turnover.York Motors (Holding) Ltd.. Sydney. B.M C. distributor, reports increased turnover in the half-yea*’ ended May 31 compared with the corresponding previous period. Interim dividend is unchanged at 12J per cent, maintaining the 25 per cent rate established last year on lower capital.
