Increased Valuations In Cheviot And Waipara

New valuations for the Cheviot and Wadpara counties have been issued by the Valuation Department in Christchurch.

The Cheviot county was last revised in September. 1958 The new capital value is £4.533.130, as against the former £3.893.710, and the new unimproved value is £2039.180. compared with £1.769.080. The value of improvements has risen from £2124.630 to £2,439,950 In the Waipara county, which was last revised in October, 1958, the capital value has risen from £8 435 950 to £9.228.180. the unimproved value from £4.205.490 to £4,067.540. and the value of improvements from £4.230.460 to £4.560 640 ‘•Notices have been sent to all owners and the rolls will be on inspection from September 2 to 23 at the county offices and at the Valuation Department in Christchurch Officers of the department will be available for interview at the county offices m Cheviot and Wai kart on September 12,” said Mr V R Aitken, branch manager of the department in Christchurch.
