Waggons Busy
Railway waggons were in heavy demand at the moment and it was expected this would continue to be so for several days, said the district traffic manager of railways (Mr J. T. P Jones) yesterday The demand for waggons was caused principally by a spate of shipping, other waggons being taken by the West Coast coal trade and the seasonal demand for waggons to move potatoes.
