Discharged 50 Years loiter

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 28

Nearly 50 years ago William Quint Tristram, a saddler in Dargavtlle, went bankrupt. Today in the Supreme Com t at Auckland he was granted an unconditional discharge by Mr Justice Perry. It was 49 years eight months and 15 days ago (in October. 1913) that Mr Tristram, then 27, heard himself adjudge ! bankrupt because of a £212 14s debt.
