Dental Workers’ Award

Dental industry workers have been granted increases in minimum award rates as from May 20. The new award contains an unqualified preference clause.

Dental technicians receive an increase of Ils lOd a week and dental metal-process workers 6s 7d. Women technicians who have not served an apprenticeship receive *n increase of 6s 7d a week, and women process workers about 6s. Women dental receptionists, attendants, and assistants receive from 4s to 5s lOd more.
