Outstanding Display In Waimate Poultry Show
The record entries received by the Waimate Poultry Society resulted in an outstanding display of poultry, pigeons, cage birds and farm and garden produce, and the show was weli patronised on Saturday afternoon and evening.
The society was congratulated by the Mayor (Mr A. J. Mcßae) when speaking at the official opening. The work of the committee under its president (Mr D. L Johns) and secretary (Mr P. J. Creba) had been rewarded by a display which was a credit to Waimate.
