Trap Shooting MACKINTOSH TROPHY

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. June 30 For the second year in succession New Zealand was second in the annual International trap shooting teams match for the Mackintosh trophy. Advice to this effect was received in Dunedin during the weekend.
The 1962 winner, Australia, was again successful. Team scores out of a possible 9000 were:—Australia 8604. New Zealand 8608. South Africa 8378. England 8119. Wale* 7701. Scotland 7781. Central Africa 7747. and Ireland 7680
The New Zealand team of 30 shooters, each of whom shot at 100 targets.’ competed at Hamilton during the course of the national championships in April. Australia. whose winning score was a record, has won the trophy six times England and New Zealand have five wins.
