Redman of Rhodesia riding a Honda, won the 350 c.c. race of the Dutch motorcycling grand prix on Saturday—part of the motor-cycle world championship series. Redman's time was Ihr 6min. 4.1 sec., an average of 86.95 miles an hour. Later, in the 125c.c. race, won .by H. Anderson, New Zealand, in a new average record of 48min. 54.1 sec„ Redman fell from his machine and broke a collar bone.

In the 50c.c. event over eight laps (38.3 miles), Anderson, on a Suzuki, was second with an average speed of 73.66 miles an hour. He is now leading in the world championship positions after three events, with 26 points.

Dissolution Talks.—Delegates from four Governments, meeting to plan the break-up of the Rhodesian Federation, agreed to set up working parties to discuss the technicalities of the operation (Victoria Falls, June 28.)
