1956 Cabinet Member (N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright j BUDAPEST, March 25. The former Hungarian Peasant Party leader, Mr Istvan Bibo, the last of the 1956 revolution Cabinet sentenced to life imprisonment, is believed to have ben freed, the Associated Press reported. Mr Bibo served for one day as Minister of State before the uprising collapsed. A Hungarian Government spokesman would neither confirm or deny reports about Mr Bibo’s release. An an-

nouncement some days ago gave today as the official date for the beginning of releases of amnestied political and criminal convicts. A well-known politician and writer, Mr Bibo was a .professor of political science at the University of Szeged, in Southern Hungary.
