HONORARY CITIZEN

State Grant To Churchill

(N.ZJ>.A.-fieuter — Copyright) NASHVILLE (Tennessee), February 19

Sir Winston Churchill today became an honorary citizen of the State of Tennessee

He is the first non-Amen-can to be acclaimed in this way.

The citation was after the grant of honorary citizenship of Nebraska to the famous war-time leader.

The action by the two States paves the way for the statesman to be made an honorary United States citizen. The honour can be bestowed only if the recipient is already a citizen of either Tennessee or Nebraska.
