PLOT TO KILL DE GAULLE
More Officers Suspected
(NX. Press Assn.—Copyright) PARIS, February 18. Security agents believe more Army office™ may be among conspirators who escaped the police -swoop which foiled a plot against Presidenit de G-aulle last week.
Two captains and a woman translator ait a Paris Military College are under arrest. Security men are reliably reported to be investigating reports that the former colonel, Antoine Argoud—who calls himself “commander of the French Secret Army” recently visited France and met Army officers.
Argoud was quoted by a Vienna newspaper last week as saying “de Gaulle must disappear.” The newspaper said Argoud was hiding in the Austrian Tyrol.
The country-wide manhunt in France continues for Georges "The Limp" Waitin, linked with at least two plots to kill Preshteot de Gaulle. Six men believed members of the French Secret Army Organisation (O.AJS.) were arrested by Spanish police in Madrid today, reliable sources said. This brings the total of alleged OAS, men arrested in the last few days to 12.
