"The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN. February 19. Hy and Domain, two form candidates for the Taieri Hurdles on the opening day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s meeting, schooled satisfactorily at Wingatut this morning. Ridden by his race rider, J. D. Pankhurst, Domain quickly jumped two hurdles. Hy, ridden by his race rider, R. O. Cairns, was outjumped over the first two hurdles by Mighty Fella (J. Dldham). but he Improved over the next two jumps when warmed up. Domain was a last-start
winner over hurdles at Invercargill early last month when having his first race as a jumper
Hy was runner-up .to Savoury at Winton when making his debut as a hurdler.
H. A. and H. T. Anderton and J. S. McKay have big teams of jumpers in commission and they are further forward In their preparations than usual this season.
Those to show up at Wtogatui this morning included Promise, No Offence and Sydtrev. They were ridden by R. O. Cairns and covered five fences on the steeplechase course.
