Court Reserves Decision
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 19. The "ourt of Appeal reserved its decision after hearing an appeal regarding the importing of a novel by Burton Wohl, “A Cold Wind in August.” In the Magistrate’s Court at Dunedin, Mr J. D. Willis, S.M., dismissed an information against Beckett and Stirling, Ltd., and London Book Club (N.Z.), Ltd., for importing an indecent document into New Zealand, the importation of which was prohibited by Section 46 (1) of the Customs Act, 1913. . The appeal is by way of a case stated by the Magistrate and removed from the Supreme Court at Dunedin by Mr Justice Henry to the Court of Appeal.
