The Postmaster - General (Mr Kinsella) will visit Christchurch next week-end to represent the Minister of Education (Mr Tennent) at the jubilee celebrations of the Opawa School. He will arrive by air on Friday night and return the next afternoon or on Sunday morning (F.0.0.R.) Dr. F. T. Shannon has resigned as assistant pediatrician to the Child Health Clinic, Health Department, Christchurch, in order to give more time to his duties as pediatrician bo the North Canterbury Hospital Board. His resignation became effective yesterday. Dr. Shannon held the position at the clinic for three years and a half. '
