SYDNEY. The Statistical Abstract of the Etoooiiorse Breeders’ Association of Australia' is just out Star Kingdom (son. of Stardust, son of Hyperion) . topped the list of Sires of winners for the fourth time to succession. He did not go to toe stud till 1951. Wilke. (Fr.) (by Court Martial) again topped the list of winning two-year-olds, aggregating £27,700 against £3MM last year, star Kingdom. which topped this list for five successive years, has dropped back to fourth this time. He beat into minor places, youngsters by Wilkes (Fr.), and Pipe o’ Peace (imp.), both of which have had many winners during the area on. Pipe o’ Peace (imp.) got hardly a winner last year, but his second crop are winning with remaricable brilliance and consistency. His first crop, now three-year-olds, are also coming Into their own.
