REUNION OF FAMILY
Brother Ends Search IN.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 1. Mr Jack Robinson, aged 56, who is a pursers clerk in the liner Corinthic, tonight met for the first time his halfbrother, Mr Stanley Robinson. aged 44. Mr Jack Robinson said tonight that he had not met any of his five half-brothers or his half-sister until seven years ago. Then he attended the wedding of the youngest. Patrick, in England, and met all but Stanley, who had transferred from the Royal Navy to the Royal New Zealand Navy soon after the war.
With the assistance of Mr J. Outred. licensee of the White Hart Hotel, a check was made of Ex-Navalmen's Association records, and it was found that Mr Stanley Robinson had finished his time with the Navy and taken a position with the Inland Revenue Department at New Plymouth. “It must run in the family, for another three of my halfbrothers are tax collectors in England," said Mr Jack Robinson.
