Meteor Cause Of Bangs ?

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 1. The theory that a meteor shattering in the sky could have caused the twin explosions heard throughout Wellington and the Hutt Valley shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday is being investigated by the director of the Carter dbservatory (Mr I. L. Thomsen).

Mr Thomsen said today there was enough evidence to prove beyond reasonable doubt a meteor flashed across the Wellington sky about 10 p.m. on Saturday. Several people had reported seeing it, he said.

Put not your trust in money: but your money in trust.—American proverb.
