Larkspur The Favourite (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) DUBLIN. June 28. Six Australian jockeys will ride in the big international field of the £68.000 Irish Derby to be run over one and a half half miles at the Currash on Saturday. They are N. Sellwood. W. Williamson. G. Bourgoure. A. Breasley. E. Cracknell and P. Glennon. Breasley will ride the 3-1 clear-cut favourite. Larkspur, in the field of 24 for the first prize of £so.ooo—the richest European race of all times. Larkspur, son of the American-bred sire. Never Say Die, is expected to complete a notable double. He won the Epsom Derby earlier this month. Larkspur's stable companion. Sebring, a son of Aureole, has been picked as the better cf the pair by Glennon. Second favourite at 7-1 is the French horse. Arcor. ridden by Sellwood, which Larkspur beat into second place at. Epsom This bay son of Arbar out of a Pharis mare is being backed to turn the tables on Larkspur chiefly on the grounds that the Curragh track m~y suit him better.
