N.Z. INCOME TRUST

Distribution 1.05 d A Unit (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 21, The managers of the New Zealand Income Trust, in their third report, covering the six months to April 30. 1962, say that gross receipts from dividends and interest were £4941. Australian tax deducted at source took £433 and management participation (i per cent.) £522. Net distribution of 1.050 d a unit takes £4484. Carry-forward is £ 128 against £627 brought in. The report says the amount available for distribution is smaller than previously owing mainly to changes in the dates on which the trust becomes entitled to dividends. After providing for the present distribution, the value of the trust’s investments, based on the lowest selling price of the shares at April 30, was £209,309, while the cost of investments was £235,396.
