Prayer Book Revision

(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, June 21. A commission representing the clergy and laymen of the Waikato diocese was appointed by the Waikato Diocesan Synod today to study the question of producing a New Zealand Prayer Book written in more simple and modern phraseology and to report to next synod. Sir Stephen Allen opposed the motion, saying that he questioned the qualifications at some of the members of the commission to revise the Prayer Book. He doubted if the members could find the time to do justice to the task, although he conceded some revision was necessary.
