Mount Pleasant Garden Club.— Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Mount Pleasant Garden Club, were: Patrons. Mesdames L. Edgar and C. Allington; president, Mrs R. S. B.N.Z. Officers’ Wives.A luncheon party was held recently at the Carlton Palm Lounge by the Christchurch Bank of New Zealand Officers Wives’ Club. About 50 members attended. Vocal items were given by Mrs Cara Cogswell, accompanied bv Mrs R. McGregor. Mrs N. C. Clapp presided. Citizens’ Association.— The women's branch of the Citizens' Association elected the following officers at a recent meeting:—President, Mrs E. R. Rice; vice-presidents. Mesdames H. E. Radley and B. K. White; committee, Mesdames J. W. Sheridan, P. Nicholls, J. P. Davis and Miss A. Bell;-secretary-treas-urer, Miss B. Morrison.
