South Korean Intrigue ( N. Z.P. A .-Reuter— Copyright) NEW YORK. June 18 The South Korean Central Intelligence Agency yesterday disclosed the smashing last month of a conspiracy to overthrow the ruling military junta and to assassinate General Park Chung Hee and other leaders of the regime Lieutenant General Song Yo Chang resigned as Prime Minister on Saturday because he said he had failed to live up to expectations in carrying out the “revolutionary objectives" of the junta There were reports, however, that he resigned because of disagreement with General Park’s financial policies. General Chung 11 Kwon, who is at present serving as South Korea’s Ambassador to the United States, is regarded as one of the leading candidates for the post Also mentioned were General Song’s Defence Minister (Mr Bak Byeng Kown), the former Defence Minister (Lieutenant General Kim Chung Jul), and.the director cf the Central Intelligence Agency (Mr Kim Chong Pill
