Engineers Working On Estuary
Two firms of consulting engineers have been engaged by the Christchurch Drainage Board to carry out surveys of the tidal reaches of the Heathcote and Avon rivers as part of the Estuary investigation being done by the board.
The engineers have advised the board that they will make every endeavour to complete the work by Octo,ber, but ask the board to appreciate that the worst time of the year for outside field work is approaching.
