(N Z P A .-Reuter—Copyright) NEW DELHI, June 19

The “Times of India” reported today that Russia had offered MiG-21 jet fighters to India for £262,500 each, compared with £601,750 required for a similar plane from the West.

The report said, however, that discussions' would continue with Britain and the United States. “At the same time, there is no . doubt that official opinion in New Delhi has hardened against being dictated to by the uncertain course of American politics,” the report said. “The present feeling is that, while there may be a delay in the conclusion of the deal with Moscow. the proposal will not be abandoned ”
