Scoreless Draw In Final

A scheduled five-minute match between two primary school teams became a drawnout encounter of half an hour without a goal being scored when the Malvern Women’s Hockey Association conducted a six-a-side tournament on Saturday. The two teams were Halkett and Greendale. They shared the honours in the primary school section, which attracted an entry of 14 teams. Tlie teams were:—Halkett: B North cote. A. Henderson. G. Members of the wining side were F. Seaton, C. Johnston. M. Colee, N. Gilmour, E. Robertson, Y. Boulton. Halkett won the senior B final, beating Kirwee. 1-0. The Halkett players were J. Litten. L. Pasco". M. Reed. C. Henderson, J. Calder, and H. Thompson. Results of Malvern competition games were:— Senior.—Kirwee 5. Darfield 2; Halkett 17, Darfield B 2; Sheffield 18. Coalgate 0. Junior.—Coalgate 3. Sheffield 1; Kirwee 3. Darfield 0.
