Motor Racing EXPENSES PAYMENTS

Plans For S.I. Circuit (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. June 17. The South Island motor racing promoters will again institute a modified system of expenses payments to New Zealand drivers competing in the full South Island circuit —Wigram. Teretonga, Dunedin and Waimate—a meeting decided in Dunedin this after, noon. Representatives of the four member clubs—the Motot Racing Club, the Southland Sports Car Club, the South Canterbury Sports Car Club and the Dunedin Festival Road Race Promotion Committee —decided to continue to make bonus payments to last year’s leading Gold Star points getters. Both Wigram and Teretonga have been inscribed on the international racing calender. The Dunedin and Waimaite events will be on a national basis. The meeting decided to invite P. M. Hoare (Christchurch), J. Palmer (Hamilton), A. HysSop (Hastings), A. L. Shelly (Wellington), W R. Eade (Auckland), B. J Cottle (Dunedin), R. Greenville (Morrinsville), W Thomasen (Papakura), M. F. Stanton (Christchurch), C. Amon (Bulls), R. Rutherford (Christchurch), J. C. N. Histed (Auckland), D. C. Hulme (Te Puke), to compete in the circuit.
