Contract For Tugs

The British firm of Brooke Marine had been awarded a contract to construct two single-screw diesel electric tugs for the Whangarei Harbour Board, the “Financial Times” reported. The tugs would be used for the handling of oil tankers up to 87.000 tons and for general harbour and fire-fighting duties.
